the used-car history report, for research peptides

Before you trust a vial, check the paperwork.

We checked 10 lab reports from one vendor. 8 were real. 6 were below the purity number on the listing. Here's how to check yours — and we'll check one for you.

What is a peptide, in one picture?

Your body builds proteins out of amino acids, like beads on a string. A peptide is a short string — anywhere from 2 to about 50 beads. A protein is a long one.

Research peptides are short strings made in a lab. Some copy pieces of things your body already makes. Most have only been studied in cells or animals. None on this site are approved for human use.

That last sentence is the whole point of this site.

How a background check works

Same idea as checking a used car before you hand over money. We don't test the vial ourselves — we check the record, and we show you how to check it too.

step 1

Pull the record

FDA and WADA status. What published studies claim — and whether they were in people, mice, or a dish. Who wrote them.

lab's copyvendor's PDF
step 2

Match the lab report

A PDF on a vendor's site is a claim. The same document in the lab's own database is a record. We look it up and compare, lot by lot.

verifiedunverifiednothing on file
step 3

Report it plainly

Three lights. No verdicts, no "best for". If the vendor we link to fails a check, we say so — same rules for everyone.

The 6 documents worth asking for

If a vendor can't produce these, you don't have documentation. You have a label.

Lot ID
The batch number — on the vial, on the listing, on the report. All three must match.
Certificate of Analysis
The lab's report for that lot: what it is, how pure, tested how.
Lab lookup
The same report, found in the lab's own database. This is what makes a PDF real.
Who you're dealing with
The legal entity, its state, and whether it's the company it looks like.
Identity confirmed
The lab checked that the molecule is what the label says. "TB-500" can mean two different things.
Regulator status, dated
FDA and WADA move. What was true in 2023 isn't true today. We re-check quarterly.

Questions people actually search

Is Peptide Restore legit?
We don't issue verdicts. On file: an active Utah LLC, a named third-party lab whose database returns 8 of the 10 certificates we checked, and a few listing details that don't match the lab numbers. Read the check →
Is Capstone Peptides legit?
Too early to say much: the operator is named in its own partner terms, the domain is from May 2026, and no certificate has been checked yet because the site is gated. Most rows say "nothing on file" — that is a result, not a verdict. Read the check →
How do I verify a COA?
Open the certificate the vendor posts, copy its search code, enter it at the lab's public lookup, and compare the two files field by field. Five minutes, no chemistry. Step-by-step →
What do the three lights mean?
Green: the lab's own database returned the same document. Amber: the lab couldn't find it, or something doesn't match. Grey: no document exists to check.
Do you sell peptides?
No. We don't sell, ship, or handle any product, and nothing here is approved for human use. We check paperwork.
Do you earn money from vendors?
Yes. We are an affiliate of Peptide Restore and Capstone Peptides, and we may earn a commission on orders placed through our links to them, at no extra cost to you. The same checklist applies to every vendor. Their failures publish. Full disclosure →
